Lyra, Fairy Queen of Spring, usually arrives sometime in April to wake the sleeping flowers and trees. She brings the warm breezes that melt the ice and snow. It is also part of her and her courts duty to wake the bears and other hibernating creatures. Spring is the time for new beginnings and it is Lyra's job to make everything green again as she has done for over a hundred years. |
