Sceptre, based in California and manufacturers of affordable LED HDTVs, LCD HDTVs, and PC monitors, just announced the newest edition to their already stacked lineup of HDTVs. One of the most interesting stories to come out of CES 2012 is about a pair of technology demonstration displays that were tucked away in the Sony booth. Labeled UE46D6200 Scepter has been offering up cool TVs for a long time now and of late, the company had started offering units with DVD players inside as well. A TV with an integrated DVD player is perfect for a small room or office where space is at a premium. The new TV is the E243BD-FHD and it has a 23-inch screen and supports full 1080p resolution. The aspect ratio for the screen is 16:9 and it has three HDMI inputs to support multiple game consoles or cable boxes. The brightness rating for the screen is 250cd/m2 and it has a 5ms response time. The speakers have 3W per channel. The TV also has a USB port and a headphone jack for private listening. The contrast ratio is 1000:1 and the set can be wall mounted. The slim DVD player is built into the side of the set.
